I took a walk into the woods today,

to try and find the words I need to say,

but now I know that I was wrong

I jumped into your point and argued mine,

I never even heard your opening line,

and now I know that I was wrong

But even now its clear that we belong

They say that opposites seem to attract,

Of course that’s true, but there’s another fact

That we’re the same as we’re opposed

The subtle beauties do flow through your hands,

and jagged words escape me to my man,
